BANGOR — Last season at the WIAA Division 3 track and field state meet, Argyle-Pecatonica’s Anna Tisch was just 0.05 seconds away from setting the program record in the 300-meter hurdles. It was a feat she had been eying all season, and Tisch finally broke the record at the Division 3 sectional May 23 — doing so by a whole second.
Tisch has qualified for state in the 300-meter hurdles each of her three prior seasons, but she has never made the podium. Although she set the school record, she is still aiming for that podium spot.
