JEFFERSON — Brodhead-Juda’s girls cross country team finished fourth at Jefferson Oct. 1.
Madelynn McIntyre was first overall, setting the pace at 20 minutes, 48 seconds. Presleigh Arnold was 14th overall, while fellow Cardinal Anna Skoumal finished 17th. Elsewhere for Brodhead-Juda, the trio of Carisa Purdue, Gabi Ryser and Kyleigh Raupp finished back-to-back-to-back in 40th, 41st, and 42nd place. Ellie Riemer was 47th.
On the boys side, Brodhead-Juda was fifth as a team. Carter Urness led the way by taking 16th and teammate Jacob Staffon was 17th. Brady Bruns strolled across the finish line 31st, Josiah Engen was 32nd, Royce Brauer 54th, Sabian Blang 58th and Jacob Lohmar was 59th.
