Butler, Ganshert names top players in Six Rivers East

MONROE — Black Hawk sophomore infielder Bailey Butler was the player of the year in the Six Rivers East, while Argyle freshman Grace Ganshert was the league’s pitcher of the year.

Ganshert was joined by senior teammates Kirsten Ostby and Jadyn Saalsaa on the first-team. Senior Lexi Leigh was honorable mention, as we senior Alysabeth Lantz and freshman sister Tori Lantz. The Orioles won the conference title for the first time in program history.

Black Hawk junior Hannah Butler was a first-team pick at pitcher, while senior Mia Jackson and junior infielder Natalie Leuzinger were also first-team picks. Senior Kaitlyn Fey was honorable mention.

Juda-Albany seniors Brianna Crull and Kirsten Oliver were first-team selections, as were juniors Lydia Bouc and Emily Makos. Freshman Emileigh Dallman and senior Karlee Kesler were honorable mention picks.

Pecatonica freshman Tessa Green was a first-team pick. Seniors Joselyn White and Abby Loomis were honorable mention, as was sophomore Lily Busser.

Monticello senior Claire Klossner and junior Sarah Blumer were honorable mention picks.

Barneveld had three first-team nods and two honorable mention selections.
