Burkeland Bound for UWO

Pecatonica’s Nathan Burkeland, left, announced Thursday, Nov. 30 his commitment to continue his academic (Mechanical Engineer) and football careers at UW Oshkosh. Theorin is excited to “learn more about a sport (he) love(s) and (has) always loved growing up.” When Burkeland made a game-day visit, he “felt like it was more than just a football team. ... Everyone felt the brotherhood.” Burkeland played many roles for Pecatonica-Argyle this fall, leading the team with 98 tackles. He also tallied 43 rushing yards and 229 receiving yards with four total TDs. UWO finished 4-3 in the WIAC with 12 players honored in conference.
