Monroe's No. 1 tennis duo of Jensen Christensen and Grace Tostrud lost in the WIAA Division 2 state championship. 

Unbeaten Erika Curtin and Ellie Macksood of Xavier, the top tandem at state, won 6-0, 6-2.
