ARGYLE — It’s been a tough stretch of Six Rivers East games for Argyle-Pecatonica, a top-10 team in Division 4.
After back-to-back home losses to Albany-Monticello and Barneveld, AP found itself in a battle with a resurgent Black Hawk squad. The Warriors kept their hosts on their toes all game, trailing by just two at halftime. In the end, however, Argyle-Pecatonica pulled off the victory, 66-57.
Both teams had three players in double figures in scoring, and each team also had a player collect a double-double. Argyle-Pecatonica shot just 10% from three-point range (2-for-20), though Black Hawk didn’t fare much better (3-for-15). Fouls in the paint were aplenty, however.
