Andrews earns Badger, state All-Freshmen accolades

JANESVILLE — Freshman Micki Andrews of Monroe, a forward for the Janesville Bluebirds, was named Honorable Mention on the Badger Conference All-Conference team and was also named to the Max Preps State All-Freshman Team for the 2025-2026 season.

Andrews scored four goals and had eight assists for a total of 12 points for the Bluebirds. She scored the very first goal of the season for the Bluebirds in a loss to the Lakeshore Lightning on Nov. 28. Janesville went 7-5 in the Badger Conference and 9-12-2 overall, good for a third place finish in the Badger Conference.
