The 2026 Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) all-state teams were recently released.

In Division 4, Albany-Monticello senior Molly Olson and Belleville senior Toria Devoe were first-team all-state selections. Albany-Monticello sophomore Heidi Olson and Brodhead senior Alecia Dahl were honorable mention selections.

Molly Olson averaged 13.2 points, 3.7 assists and 3.4 steals per contest and helped lead the Space Stallions to a 27-3 overall record, a state runner-up finish, and a share of the Six Rivers East championship. An honorable mention pick last season, she also played a key role in helping Albany-Monticello win the WIAA D5 state title in 2024.

Devoe was a two-time honorable mention all-state selection. This year she broke the school record for career points scored while averaging 24.8 points and 2.3 steals per game.

In Division 5, there were three Six Rivers East players selected to the first team — Kylie Butler (sr, Argyle-Pecatonica), Brooke Wellnitz (jr, Argyle-Pecatonica) and Izabel Durst (sr, Barneveld) — while Shullsburg’s McKinley Russell (soph) was honorable mention.

Butler, a UW-Milwaukee signee, averaged 20 points, 4.3 assists and 3.5 steals per game, and finished her career with more than 2,000 points. Wellnitz finished the season with 18.1 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 3.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per game. Argyle Pecatonica went 22-5 overall, winning a share of the Six Rivers East title and reaching the sectional semifinals.

The WBCA also released the Academic  and Elite Academic All-State lists. More than 2500 girls basketball players have met the minimum requirement to be recognized as WBCA All-State.

The Academic All-State requires that nominated athletes be varsity players from any grade level and hold a GPA of at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale). These players will receive a WBCA certificate from their school.

Elite Academic All-State is for seniors only and includes an academic review and on-court performance. Only 15 players in the state are selected.
