BARNEVELD — Albany-Monticello maintained its perfect record for the 2024-25 season with a 50-37 victory over Barneveld on Dec. 12. With the win, the second-ranked Space Stallions take a game lead over the eighth-ranked Eagles in the Six Rivers East standings. AM is currently tied with Division 4 eight-ranked Argyle-Pecatonica.
Dalana Trumpy led the team with 18 points, including two 3-point plays. Molly Olson chipped in 16 points, making five baskets beyond the arc. The defense held Izzy Durst, who averaged 18 ppg, to just four points.
ARGYLE-PECATONICA 78, JUDA 22
JUDA — The Orioles kept pace with the Space Stallions atop the Six Rivers East Conference with a convincing win over the Panthers on Dec. 12. AP limited Juda to just 11 points each half.
Four of AP’s six scorers finished in double figures, led by Kylie Butler with 22 points. Avari Steiner made four 3-pointers in her 18-point total, while Brooke Wellnitz also put up 18 points. Loretta Tisch recorded 12 points.
Rianna Sullivan and Phoenix Homan were Juda’s leading scorers with six points each.
BELLEVILLE 59, COLUMBUS 52
COLUMBUS — Toria Devoe and Maddi DeSmet came up big for the Wildcats in a Capitol Conference crossover game against the Cardinals Dec. 12. The pair scored 22 and 16 points, respectively. Four others contributed to the offense.
DARLINGTON 62, SOUTHWESTERN 41
HAZEL GREEN — The Redbirds trailed just once against the Wildcats in a SWAL game Dec. 12. Darlington also bested Southwestern in all but one statistical category — offensive boards 16-11.
Three players scored in double figures to lead the Redbirds — Maddie Gratz (15 points), Catie Hartwig (12) and Lylah Norgard (10). Lilly Ritchie snagged a team-high eight rebounds, all defensive.

BRODHEAD — The Cardinals held the Chiefs to just nine points in the second half of a Rock Valley-Rock Conference game on Dec. 13.
A trio of Cardinals scored in double figures to lead the team — Allie Dahl (12 points), Chesney Walker (10) and Annelise Bethke (10).

DELAVAN — The Cheesemakers committed 27 turnovers, leading to 34 points for the Comets in a Rock Valley-Valley Conference game Dec. 13. Alexis Gertsch was Monroe’s leading scorer with eight points, while Brinley Roidt grabbed six rebounds.
