LANCASTER — Three new school records propelled Albany boys to a fourth-place finish (77) points in the Division 3 Lancaster regional meet May 20.
Caleb Smith set the shot put record (48-02), Bryce Hughes broke the Comets’ long jump mark (21-07), and the 4x400 relay established a new best (3:33.15).
In addition to these athletes, the top four in each won even more on to the WIAA Division 3 Bangor sectional. From there, the top four entries qualify for the WIAA State Meet at UW-La Crosse May 31-June 1.
