MONROE - The Monroe Area Rebel Soccer Club, in conjunction with the MYSC soccer club of Middleton, is offering its annual camp in Monroe Aug. 3-6 at Honey Creek Park.

The camp will feature coaches Kirstin Kiphardt and Mike Surtees. In addition to possessing several national coaching licenses, Kiphardt played professionally for the Colorado Cougars after playing in college at UNC-Asheville. Surtees has coached youth of all ages and holds his National Youth License and USSF "C" License.

The camp includes, skill stations, technique development activities and small-sided games, which will be utilized to enhance fundamental soccer skills.

The camp is open to youth of all ages. Players entering grades three through 12 will practice from 9 a.m. to noon each day at a total cost of $50. Players entering kindergarten through second grade will pay $30 and practice from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Players are asked to bring a ball, soccer shoes, shin guards and water. All participants will receive a camp T-shirt.
