MONROE - Senior Ben Latimer was one of three Monroe High School boys basketball players to receive Badger South All-Conference honors recently.
Latimer, who overcame a broken bone in his foot to average 14.6 points per game, was named second-team all-conference.
Monroe junior Carter Sawdey (11.3 ppg) and junior Alex Tordoff (12.2 ppg) both received honorable mention.
Oregon senior Charlie Soul was a unanimous first-team all-conference selection and was named the Badger South Conference Player of the Year.
Monroe finished the season 6-17 and lost to Mount Horeb 67-64 in a regional quarterfinal game.
