NEW GLARUS - The Glarner Knights blew a five-point, fourth-quarter lead to drop a non-conference game to Beloit Turner Saturday, 49-47.
Trailing 17-16 after the first quarter, New Glarus rallied to take the lead at halftime, 28-27. A 15-11 third-quarter run put the Knights up by five with a frame left to play, but the Trojans came back in the fourth to stun New Glarus' home crowd.
The Knights shot just 6 of 11 from the free throw line, though it was a better mark than Beloit's 5-for-13 performance.
Ryan Bright scored 14 points to lead New Glarus. Cameron Jeglum hit two 3-pointers and finished with 10 points. Nick Stuessy had eight. Jordan Conway led Beloit with 22 points.
Pecatonica 46, Black Hawk 26
BLANCHARDVILLE - Jeremy Meudt had 22 points, including two 3s, as the Vikings rolled to a win over rival Black Hawk.
Pecatonica led just 10-9 after the first quarter and 18-14 at halftime, but a 28-12 second-half run put away the Warriors.
Jason Meudt had nine points for the Vikings. T.J. Adams led Black Hawk with 15 points, including three 3s.
Pecatonica was 19 of 27 from the charity stripe in the contest, compared to Black Hawk's 3-for-7 performance. The Vikings committed only 13 fouls to the Warriors' 25.
