MONTICELLO - Junior Karlie Klossner threw a six-inning no-hitter for the Ponies in a Six Rivers East game on Saturday.
Klossner struck out six batters and walked two, as the Ponies knocked off Albany 10-0.
"She didn't have her best stuff," Monticello coach Duane Garrison said. "She kept them off balance and our defense was steady behind her."
Monticello scored two runs in the first inning, another in the third, three in the fifth and four in the sixth to force the Mercy Rule.
Freshman Marissa Berg was 4 for 4, with four RBIs for the Ponies.
In other area action on Saturday, New Glarus lost to Lakeside Lutheran 14-1 in five innings.
