WILLIAMS BAY - Juda junior Hailey Kammerer scored a team-high 12 points to propel the Panthers to a 59-53 win over Catholic Central in the championship game of the Williams Bay Tournament on Friday.

Kammerer led a balanced scoring attack. Juda (6-3) had three players reach double figures. Senior Chelsea Burkhalter and junior MacKenzie Byrne each added 12 points. Maddie Roth and Riley Adkins both chipped in seven points for the Panthers. Byrne hit three of the Panthers' five 3-pointers.

"We had an all-around team effort," Juda coach Curt Brown said. "It wasn't just one player. It was everyone getting into the act. That was nice to see."

The Panthers led by as many as 18 points in the second half and made 24 of 36 free throws en route to the victory.

"Catholic Central is always a good team," Brown said. "It was a very physical game. Whenever you get into a holiday tournament it's a break from the middle of the season. You get to play two games in two days against different competition and it kind of mirrors the tournament."
