JUDA - The Panthers continued their winning ways by rolling past Argyle 46-18 Friday night.

"We played a strong first half," Juda coach Curt Brown said.

Juda led 16-4 after the first quarter and 32-10 at halftime.

Ellen Kiser had a game-high 24 points for the Panthers, which broke the school record for wins in a season last week. Argyle was led in scoring by Danielle Treuthardt with seven points.

Black Hawk 52, Pecatonica 25

SOUTH WAYNE - The Warriors came out firing on all cylinders, racking up a 17-4 lead after the first quarter.

Black Hawk (15-0, 7-0 Six Rivers East) held two of Pecatonica's top scorers, Alisha Esselstein and Lizzy Britt to just two points apiece.

"We did a good job of defending. We made them work hard for their points," Black Hawk coach Mike Flanagan said.

Freshman Jen Wellnitz paced the Warriors with 12 points and Katie Powers and Melissa Wellnitz each scored nine. Ellie Gifford led Pecatonica with 11 points.

Wisconsin Heights 66, New Glarus 53

NEW GLARUS - Alycia Atwell scored 27 points and Chelsea Holler added 17 for the Glarner Knights in a losing effort.

Wisconsin Heights led 18-8 after the first quarter, but New Glarus cut the score to 26-25 at the half.

In the second half, the Van-guards outscored the Knights 30-18 to seal the game.

"We stuck with them until about midway through the fourth. Turnovers, missing open bunnies - those things are hurting us," New Glarus coach Megan Scheele said.

Edgerton 52, Brodhead 47

BRODHEAD - The Cardinals (9-7, 7-3 Rock Valley) let a 3-point, half-time lead go by the wayside in the second half as the Crimson Tide hit one 3-pointer after another.
