HIGHLAND - The Monticello girls basketball team Monday lost to High land in a non-conference game by a score of 43-32. High-land jumped out to an 11-8 first quarter lead and led by nine points at halftime. Monticello senior Taylor Klitzke scored a team-high 13 points to lead the Ponies.

With the loss, the Ponies drop to 1-5, (1-2 Six Rivers East).
