MONROE - Seniors Ashley Hermanson, Jamie Armstrong and Gwen Sutter were named to the Badger South first-team All-Conference list.
Hermanson, a 6-foot forward, was a unanimous choice. Hermanson averaged 11.5 points per game in conference play. On the season, Hermanson, a four-year starter, averaged 11.1 points and 7 rebounds per game.
Armstrong averaged 12.7 points per conference game and Sutter scored 8.2. Both Armstrong and Sutter have also be four-year varsity starters.
Junior Kylee Ritschard and senior Chelsea Brice were each named to the honorable mention list.
Monroe, currently 25-1 on the season, won the conference by going unbeaten in 12 games. It was the seventh straight conference championship for the Cheesemakers and the third-straight time Monroe has qualified for the state tournament.
The Cheesemakers will play Winneconne Friday in the WIAA Division 2 state semifinal at the Kohl Center in Madison at 1:35 p.m.
