GREENDALE - Steven Delikat scored two goals to power Greendale to an 8-2 win over the Monroe boys hockey co-op Saturday at Wilson Park.
Greendale's Rob Anderson scored an unassisted goal in the third minute to give the Ice Force an early lead. Greendale tacked on two goals in the second period. The Ice Force broke the game open, scoring five goals in the third period.
Monroe's Hayden Roth scored a goal on an assist by Cade Janecke at the 11 minute, 31 second mark in the third period to cut the Ice Force's lead to 5-1. After Greendale's Luke Davitz scored a goal, the Cheesemakers answered again with Roth scoring a power-play goal on assists from Colton O'Connor and Cooper Dreyfus with about 6 minutes left.
The Ice Force outshot the Cheesemakers 44-36. Monroe sophomore goalie Heath Bear had 28 saves and Jayden Johnson had eight saves.
