GREENDALE - Bailey Beierle scored three goals to power Greendale to an 8-0 win over the Monroe boys hockey co-op on Saturday.
Greendale scored three power play goals. Greendale's Jake Schappel added two assists. Greendale outshot the Avalanche 55-12.
Monroe goalie Dan Guilliams had 47 saves. The Avalanche had eight penalties and gave up five goals in the second period.
"We played a great first and third period, but let up too much in the second," Monroe coach Josh Smith said. "We also had problems staying out of the penalty box. Danny had a great game and it's nice to see him continuing to improve."
Monroe will host Stoughton at 7 p.m. Saturday at SLICE.
