Grafton shuts down Monroe in opener

MONROE - Grafton erupted for 10 goals in the first period to roll to an 18-0 win over the Monroe boys hockey co-op in the season opener Saturday. Grafton's Taylor Snider scored four goals and had four assists, and Danny Likins scored three goals as each earned a hat trick to lead Grafton. "We were kind of shell-shocked," Monroe coach Josh Smith said.
