MONTICELLO - Juda-Albany senior Alexis Goecks went 4-for-5, hit two home runs in one inning and had five RBI to power the Panthers to a 19-0, five-inning win over Monticello.
Goecks hit a solo home run off Monticello freshman pitcher Mia Brokopp to lead off the fifth inning. The Panthers batted around in a nine-run fifth. Goecks later in the inning blasted a grand slam later in the inning.
Juda-Albany (10-1), ranked second in Division 4 by the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association, had 15 hits.
Monticello (1-8, 1-6 Six Rivers East) had five errors and only five of the 19 runs were earned.
"Our effort was not good," Monticello coach Duane Garrison said. "We just laid an egg. We just didn't come to play like they did. It was probably our worst game of the season."
Juda-Albany juniors Nicki Becker and Sammi Detra each went 2-for-2 and junior Hailey Kammerer was 3-for-4.
Becker pitched a two-hit shutout. She struck out seven and walked none. The only hits for the Ponies came on sophomore Claire Klossner's single in the first and freshman Destiney Hanenberger's single in the second.
Brokopp pitched a complete game and gave up five earned runs on 15 hits. She struck out one and walked five.
Brodhead 9,
WALWORTH Big Foot 2
BRODHEAD - Junior Azzy Steiner turned in a dazzling performance, tossing a one-hitter and leading Brodhead over Walworth Big Foot.
Steiner gave up two unearned runs. She struck out seven and walked four.
Brodhead's Katie Goecks went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
The Cardinals broke the game open with an eight-run second inning. The Cardinals were aggressive on the base paths, stealing seven bases.
Senior Michelle Loeffelholz went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two stolen bases. Both juniors McKenna Bump and Whitney Gerber were 2-for-4 with one RBI.
Barneveld 6,
Black Hawk 4
BARNEVELD - The Golden Eagles scored three runs in the sixth inning to come back to knock off Black Hawk (7-9, 4-4 Six Rivers East).
The game was scheduled to be played in South Wayne but was moved to Barneveld since Black Hawk's field was too wet.
Barneveld's Audrey Hendrickson pitched a complete game to get the win. She gave up two earned runs on five hits. Hendrickson struck out five and walked five.
Black Hawk senior Jordyn Delzer scored two runs and had a double.
Black Hawk freshman pitcher Hannah Butler pitched a complete game and gave up three earned runs on seven hits. Butler struck out seven and walked six.
Darlington 6, Fennimore 5
FENNIMORE - The Redbirds scored the game-winning run in the seventh inning to clip Fennimore.
Darlington senior Lexi Wagner went 2-for-2, and senior Hannah Kelly was 3-for-4. The Redbirds had eight hits and didn't commit an error.
Darlington senior Tayah Paulson pitched a complete game to get the win. She gave up five runs on six hits, struck out five and didn't issue a walk.
