MONROE - Monroe Youth Hockey Association announced two dates for new players to try hockey for free at SLICE, 1632 4th Ave. West.
From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, all girls ages 3 to 12 can try hockey for a day. All participating girls will receive a free gift. Register in person on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at SLICE.
From 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, a session for all boys and girls from ages 3 to 10 years old will be held. To register, visit www.tryhockeyforfree.com and enter zip code "53566" in the locate button and complete the registration.
MYHA encourages those who have access to a set of equipment to bring it, but equipment is not necessary to participate.
For those who don't have equipment, MYHA will provide all other necessary equipment, though they ask participants to bring a parent to complete the waiver form, gloves (mittens are fine) and skates (if possible).
