MONROE - Monroe residents seeking to get fit have the option to work out at an outdoor exercise circuit in Twining Park.

The circuit, which features five compact exercise stations, was erected in the summer of 2015 for about $25,000 after a campaign by a Green County Leaders group.

The stations use simple equipment such as exercise bars and platforms to allow users to undergo a self-guided full-body workout with nothing but their own body weight.

The circuit includes directions for various exercises that can be performed at each station. Between each station, more than 100 exercises are possible at the installation. Users can also scan QR codes at each station for videos of exercises.
