Feller lifts Vikings

BLANCHARDVILLE - Pecatonica senior Karson Feller scored 17 points to propel the Vikings to a 58-40 non-conference win over Belmont on Tuesday.

Pecatonica (2-3, 1-0 Six Rivers East) jumped out to a 17-10 first-quarter lead and led by seven points at halftime. The Vikings outscored the Braves 29-18 in the second half.

"We got a little confidence from the win over Argyle from the other night," Pecatonica coach Kevin Parman said. "We were able to get some layups in transition and get the ball to Karson Feller."

Pecatonica senior Tanner Kleppe scored 10 points and hit two 3-pointers.

Brodhead 59, Evansville 43

BRODHEAD - The Cardinals had four players reach double figures in a Rock Valley Conference crossover win.

Brodhead (3-2) took a 14-8 lead in the first quarter and led by five points at halftime. The Cardinals outscored the Blue Devils 15-7 in the third quarter to take a 13-point lead.

Brodhead seniors Trenton Jordan and Jesse DeLorme each scored 14 points. Classmates Tate Harnack and Jacob Johnson added 11 and 10, respectively.
