DARLINGTON - The Darlington Redbirds opened Tuesday's game against Pecatonica in dominating fashion, scoring the first 14 points en route to a 66-44 win.
"We saw a lot of good things. We pushed the ball up the floor," Darlington head coach Mike Hopkins said.
The Redbirds led 38-18 at halftime and 54-28 after the third quarter.
"Things got a little sloppy in the second half," Hopkins said. "We didn't have a total effort out there. We didn't execute everything."
