DARLINGTON - Sophomores Kaylee Meyers and Kathleen Mathias combined to score 35 points but the Darlington girls basketball team fell 77-71 to Riverdale on Tuesday.

The Redbirds led 42-33 at halftime but were outscored 44-29 in the second half.

Meyers scored 18 points, including one 3-pointer, and Mathias added 17.
