MONROE - The Monroe Brewers lost 5-4 to Cross Plains in a Home Talent South Section Night League baseball game Thursday.
Monroe's Kramer Henning went 4-for-4 with a double and Adam Sigenthaler was 3-for-3. Mitch Marty and co-player manager Lon Scheuerell were each 2-for-4.
Kris Rieder pitched five innings and gave up two runs on eight hits. He struck out four and walked one.
Marty tossed two innings in relief and he gave up three runs on two hits. He struck out four and walked two.
"Some of the younger guys on our team like Kramer Henning played great for us," Scheuerell said.
