BELMONT - The Albany Comets volleyball team dropped all eight games it played at the Six Rivers Tournament in Belmont on Saturday.

In the first two-game match in the morning, Albany lost 25-14, 25-15 to Cassville. In the second match, the Comets lost 25-7, 25-10 to Potosi.

During tournament play in the afternoon, Belmont topped Albany 25-14, 25-23. In the final match of the day, the Comets fell 26-24, 25-20, to Randolph.

"We didn't play our game," Albany head coach Connie Wunschel said. "It was a reality check for us. Now we know where we are at. It's really frustrating."

Albany was picked by many coaches as the potential Six Rivers East conference champion.
