Children's spring v-ball leagues now forming

MONROE - The Monroe Parks and Recreation Department's Spring Volleyball League is now accepting registrations.

Boys and girls in fifth and sixth grades will meet from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, March 6 through April 17 at Northside Elementary School gym. There will be no volleyball March 27.

Third and fourth graders will meet from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursdays, March 8 through April 19 at Northside Elementary School gym. There will be no volleyball March 29.

The supervisors will be Matt Skibba and Laura Skattum. Instructors are Sarah Harder, Elli Mueller, Lexi Davis and Kennedy Foulker.

There is no bus transportation available to Northside School. Parents will need to provide transportation.

Children can register online or stop at the temporary Parks and Recreation office at 1064 5th Ave., across from PDC.
