SOUTH WAYNE - Michael Place scored 21 points and T.J. Adams added 14 points (and four 3-pointers), but the Black Hawk boys basketball team couldn't overcome the Chieftains on Monday. The Warriors lost 52-43.

Potosi took a 10-7 lead after the first quarter, and 24-19 at the half.

In the third quarter, Black Hawk couldn't do as much as it would have liked, and found itself trailing, 41-32.

The Warriors, ranked No. 11 in the WisHoops.net Coaches Poll and 14th in the AP Division 4 poll, fell to 4-2 on the season.

Michael Wolff and Cody Foster were the only other Warriors to reach the scorebook. Wolff had six points and Foster finished with two.

Taylor Udelhofen led Potosi with 15 points and Cody Vacha added 14.

Black Hawk (1-1 Six Rivers East) will resume conference play Thursday night, hosting Juda (1-4, 1-2).
