REEDSBURG - Monroe senior Brandon Wilson scored two goals to lift the Cheesemakers to a 4-0 win over Reedsburg in the inaugural boys soccer Badger Challenge.
Monroe (7-13) got off to a fast start, with Wilson scoring an unassisted goal in the 14th minute.
The Cheesemakers exploded for three second-half goals. Wilson scored his second goal off a direct kick at 43:82.
Monroe senior Jordan Steiner gave the Cheesemakers a 3-0 lead scoring on an assist from Andrew Aurit at 44:10.
Aurit tacked on an insurance goal in the 48th minute.
Monroe junior goalkeeper Jordan Steurer recorded the Cheesemakers' second straight shutout with five saves.
Monroe will host McFarland in a WIAA Division 2 regional semifinal game at 4 p.m. Oct. 23 at Honey Creek Park. It was just three days ago that the Cheesemakers defeated the Spartans 2-0.
"We are all excited to see McFarland again since we beat them last time," Monroe coach Tony Stamm said.
