MONROE - The Cheese Days Chase will be held Saturday, Sept. 15 in downtown Monroe.
As part of Cheese Days weekend kick-off, the races are held in multiple distances including: 5K run, 10K run, two mile walk and a kids race for ages 10 and under.
The 5K, 10K, and walk will begin at 9 a.m. and the kids race will begin at 8:30 a.m. All who pre-register will receive a T-shirt; shirts are not guaranteed race day. Awards ceremony at Minhas Brewery. Awards will be given for male and female by age divisions for first, second and third place. Cheese Days and kids race participants will enjoy cheese sandwiches and beer or root beer.

Pre-register through Monday, Aug. 27. The advanced registration fee for 5K, 10K, and two-mile walk is $25. From Tuesday, Aug., 28 through race day, the fee is $30 for 5K, 10K, and two-mile walk.
The kids race fee is $10 (pre-registration through race day). The event will be held rain or shine.
