MONROE - Monroe senior Jess Weeden's first swim meet Tuesday after competing in the Deaflympics was a record breaker.Weeden teamed with seniors Kendell Niffenegger, Randi Robertson and freshman Rachel Root to finish second in the 400-meter freestyle relay in a school record time of 4 minutes, 24.54 seconds. The new mark eclipsed the previous record of 4:24.62. Monroe lost the dual meet to McFarland, 97.5-72.5, but the Cheesemakers set several personal best times.
