WHITEWATER - The Brodhead-Juda wrestling team won three matches and lost a Rock Valley Conference dual meet to Whitewater 51-23 Tuesday.
Brodhead-Juda's Kaleb Erb at 160 pounds pinned Whitewater's Will Leibbrand in 1 minute, 47 seconds. The Whippets won four of the seven matches wrestled. The Cardinals forfeited five weight classes including 138, 160, 182, 195 and heavyweight.
Brodhead-Juda junior Russell Waeffler defeated Trenten Zahn 7-3. Sophomore teammate Brian McCullough (145) defeated Whitewater's David Cuashman 9-1. Brodhead-Juda senior Trent Davis (220) knocked off Carlos Martinez 9-1. Brodhead-Juda's Lucas Steiner (126) won by forfeit.
