Cardinal boys run to title

BRODHEAD - The Brodhead-Juda boys cross country team turned in a dominating performance to win the season-opening Brodhead Invitational on Thursday. Brodhead-Juda junior Michael Hatter won the 5,000-meter race in 19 minutes, 4 seconds, which was one second ahead of runner-up Bennedict Gallager of Evansville. The Cardinals had four runners in the top five to run away with the team title 24-53 over Beloit Turner in the four-team incite.
