Brodhead-Juda topples Whitewater

BRODHEAD - Senior Tyler Flannery drove in two runs to propel the Brodhead-Juda baseball team to a 6-2 win over Whitewater on Saturday.

Brodhead-Juda (9-3, 6-2 Rock Valley South) scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull out the win.

Brodhead-Juda senior Skyler Stuckey went 2-for-4 and senior Matt Schmitt scored two runs.

Senior Tyler Hoesly pitched 61⁄3 innings to get the win for the Cardinals. He gave up two runs on three hits. Hoesly struck out four and walked two.

Brodhead-Juda will play at Monroe at 4:45 p.m. today.
