Brodhead-Juda teams run to victory

PALMYRA - Brodhead-Juda sophomore Rhianna Teubert won three individual events to help the Cardinals roll to a 113-32 dual meet win over Palmyra-Eagle on Tuesday.

Teubert won the 100-meter dash (13.1 seconds), the 300 hurdles (50.7) and the pole vault 8 feet).

Other multiple-event winners for the Cardinals were junior Madee Harding, 200 (26.9) and high jump (5-2), and senior Miranda Ryser, shot put (30-91/2) and discus (90-0).

Other Cardinals winners were junior Cora Purdue, 400 (1:05.4), freshman Carisa Purdue, 3,200 (15:46), senior Taylor Adkins, long jump (14-61/2), sophomore Abby Mauerman, triple jump (29-9), 800 relay (1:55.6), and 3,200 relay (13:06).

The Brodhead-Juda boys won 15 of 19 events en route to an 111-31 win over Palmyra-Eagle.

Junior Brekan Day won both the long jump (18-61/4) and high jump (5-8). Senior Ruben Larson won the 100 hurdles (16.2) and 300 hurdles (41.2).

The other winners for the Cardinals were senior Nate Ciabatti, 400 (55.6), senior Tyler Urness, 800 (2:07.9), junior Holden Whitledge, 3,200 (12:09), senior Draven Hawkinson, shot put (41-7), and senior Joe Stout, discus (132-5).

The Cardinals won three of the four relays - the 400 relay (46.3), 800 relay (1:37.3) and 3,200 relay (10:49).
