BLOOMINGTON - The River Ridge Timberwolves dominated both the boys and girls meets at their own invitational Tuesday while Black Hawk finished second in the boys meet and third in the girls meet.
Senior Bryant Luhman paced the Warriors in the boys meet, taking first in the shot put (45 feet, 5 inches) and second in the discus (108-2). Junior Kyle Woodruff was first in the 300-meter hurdles in 45.98 seconds and senior Michael Wolff took first in the triple jump (40-8).
Two of the Warriors' relay teams were first place finishers. Black Hawk's 400-meter boys relay team ran to a time of 47.78 seconds and the boys 1,600-meter relay team clocked in at 3:59.94.
Senior Rachel Rygh led the Warriors in the girls meet with a first place finish in the long jump with a jump of 14-4 1/2.
