FORT ATKINSON - The Monroe wrestling team closed out the regular season with a 54-21 dual meet loss to Fort Atkinson.
The Cheesemakers won four matches. Monroe junior Kevin Klopfenstein at 138 pounds pinned Fort Atkinson's Devin Wiedenhoeft in 1 minute, 36 seconds. Junior Dusty Burkhalter (182) pinned Ryan Wiedenhoeft in 5:19.
The other wins for the Cheesemakers came from junior Trevor Gorr (220) after his opponent suffered an injury and defaulted and junior Jesse Keizer (120), who defeated Mitchell Brus 8-5.
