SOUTH WAYNE - Black Hawk sophomore Hannah Butler worked out of multiple jams and helped lead the Warriors to a 10-4 win over Argyle Tuesday.
Butler pitched a complete game to get the win. She gave up four runs, struck out six and walked two.
"Hannah Butler battled through some tough situations," Black Hawk coach Curt Leuzinger said. "Black Hawk girls were aggressive on the base paths and manufactured runs when the opportunity was there. The Black Hawk girls put the ball in play and made things happen."
Warriors sophomore Maddy Huschitt, senior Cheyenne Stewart and junior Mia Jackson were each 2-for-4 with one RBI.
Argyle junior Kirsten Ostby was 2-for-4 to lead the Orioles.
Black Hawk's "Miracle Minute" to honor the late Juda teenager Natalee Baum has been rescheduled to be during the April 30 home game against Pecatonica.
Juda-Albany 13, Pecatonica 1
JUDA - The Panthers took an 8-0 lead after the second inning and never looked back on Tuesday. Juda-Albany, the defending WIAA Division 4 state champions, scored three runs in the first inning and added five more in the
second.
Pecatonica scored its lone run in the top of the third, and the Panthers responded with a 5-run fourth inning. Juda-Albany (5-1, 5-0 Six Rivers) pounded out 15 hits in the game and took advantage of four Pecatonica errors. The Vikings had just four hits.
Haley Freitag, Brianna Crull, Trinity Elmer and Nicki Becker all had two hits for Juda-Albany. Freitag and Becker each had two doubles. Freitag and Elmer each had three RBIs and Becker had two RBIs.
On the mound, Becker took the win, allowing one run in four innings, striking out eight and allowing four hits and no walks. Emily Makos pitched the fifth inning for the Panthers, allowing just one hit and no runs. Nina McKeon and Nina McSherry each pitched two innings for Pecatonica. McKeon allowed 10 hits and two walks with two strikeouts, while McSherry allowed five hits and no walks with three strikeouts.

EDGERTON - The Cardinals pulled out a pitcher's duel, scoring the game's only run in the top of the third inning off of an RBI from McKenna Bump.
Bump and teammate Azzy Steiner each had two hits for Brodhead.
On the mound, Steiner was even better, allowing just one hit behind a flawless defensive effort. She struck out six batters.
Edgerton's Madee Kleinschmidt took the loss on the mound, striking out seven in seven innings and allowing seven hits. Kleinschmidt also threw 21 first-pitch strikes.

DARLINGTON - The Redbirds mustered just two hits against Boscobel's Olivia Grassel, who walked just one and struck out 10 to get the complete game shutout.
Darlington's Alyssa Tuescher took the loss on the hill, allowing four runs (two earned) on five hits and three walks in seven innings while striking out two.
Boscobel scored all four runs in the top of the sixth inning. With one out, Boscobel got singles from Leah Wacker, Alyssa Davis and Treena Knowles, as well as a walk and a crucial error on a batted by Rebecca Yahn.
