ALBANY - The Comets busted the game open in the first half, taking a 17-2 lead after the first quarter and a 28-2 lead by halftime.
Then, things didn't go as well.
"We got a little lacsidasical in the second half," Comets head coach Mike Brunhoefer said.
Argyle outscored Albany 13-4 in the third quarter and 14-10 in the fourth to make the game a little more interesting, but the Comets held on for a 40-29 win.
"We were trying to do some different things," Brunhoefer said.
