BARNEVELD - In a match-up of the top two teams in the Six Rivers East, the Black Hawk Warriors left no doubt which team is the top team in the conference. The No. 2-ranked Warriors jumped out to a 15-4 first quarter lead and never looked back in a 63-42 rout of the Barneveld Eagles Thursday.

"We had a lot of kids make contributions and it's great to come out with a win," Black Hawk coach Mike Flanagan said.

Senior Rachel Rygh had the hot hand for the Warriors, leading the team with 25 points. Senior Melissa Wellnitz scored 12 points and freshman Jen Wellnitz added nine to pace the Warriors.

Black Hawk (17-0, 8-0 Six Rivers East) will travel to Albany Saturday to make up a game that was postponed Feb. 1.
