JUDA - Juda coach Curt Brown plans to use the championship game of the holiday tournament as a learning experience.

Juda (1-1) led Beloit Turner by 11 points heading into the fourth quarter Saturday. Beloit Turner's Megan Grover scored a game-high 36 points including three 3-pointers to help the Trojans rally for a 60-56 win over Juda.

"They came into the fourth quarter and went on a run," Brown said. "They made some big 3-pointers."

Beloit Turner outscored the Panthers 27-12 in the fourth quarter.

"We came in a little lax in the fourth quarter," Brown said. "We have to make sure we play four full quarters. In the fourth quarter, we have to make sure we close out these games. We kind of let it slip away unfortunately."

Juda junior Ellen Kiser scored a team-high 21 points and junior C.J. Dunwiddie had 14. Senior Alycia Grenzow added nine points and senior Aly Pierce chipped in eight.

In other action Shullsburg beat Monticello 40-26.
