BELLEVILLE - Freshman Cassidy Heller capped an improbable comeback, smashing a two-run double to right center in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Wildcats a thrilling 7-6 walk-off win over Argyle Tuesday.

Belleville (10-11, 5-9 Capitol South Conference) entered the bottom of the seventh trailing 6-0. The Wildcats rallied, batting around the order for a seven-run seventh to beat the Orioles.

"It was insane," Belleville coach Connie Wunschel said.

Evansville 1, Juda-Albany 0

EVANSVILLE - Kelsee Cashore tossed a no-hitter to lead Evansville to a 1-0 win over Juda-Albany Tuesday.

Evansville's Kyla Litscheim doubled in the first inning off Juda-Albany freshman pitcher Nicki Becker. Litscheim scored on an error and that was the only offense Cashore would need as she won a pitcher's duel with Becker.

"We sure took the night off hitting," Juda-Albany coach Bill Davis said. "We have a few girls in a funk and we have to break out of it. We are getting to crunch time and that one-and-done stage."

With the win, Evansville improves to 13-5. Davis was looking forward to playing a Division 2 team like the Blue Devils.

"We looked at this as a regional championship or sectional-type game," Davis said. "The girls know we have to pick it up if we are going to make it to the regional championship."

Becker pitched a complete game and gave up just one unearned run on two hits. She struck out five and didn't issue a walk. With the loss, Juda-Albany drops to 18-4, 13-1 Six Rivers East.

"She pitched phenomenal," Davis said of Becker. "Unfortunately, we weren't able to help her with the bats."
