Kylee Ritschard, Girls Basketball: The senior scored a game-high 17 points and made three 3-pointers to lead the Cheesemakers to a 57-27 win over Oregon Jan. 29. She had eight points in a 43-34 loss to Madison Edgewood Jan. 25.
Taylor Barrett, Girls Basketball: The freshman scored 10 points in the Cheesemakers' 43-34 loss to Madison Edgewood Jan. 25.
Michael Barrett, Boys Basketball: The senior scored a team-high 18 points in a 62-56 loss to Stoughton Jan. 28.
Area Boys
J.J. Panoske, Brodhead Basketball: The senior scored a game-high 40 points and had two slam dunks in a 76-25 win over Orfordville Parkview Jan. 25. Panoske scored a game-high 22 points in a 52-38 win over Jefferson Jan. 28.
Nate Thomas, Argyle Basketball: The senior scored 17 points to lead the Orioles to a 45-41 win over Albany Jan. 25. Thomas scored 10 points in a 40-33 win over Belmont Jan. 28.
Dylan Bauman, Juda Basketball: The senior scored a game-high 26 points to lead the Panthers to a 67-35 win over Pecatonica.
Area Girls
Ellen Kiser, Juda: The junior scored 28 points and had 22 rebounds to propel the Panthers to a 57-43 win over Albany Jan. 27. Juda set a school record for wins (13) with the victory.
Taylor Klitzke, Monticello: The senior scored 18 points to lead the Ponies to a 52-46 win over Pecatonica Jan. 27. Klitzke scored 18 points to lead the Ponies to a 62-43 win over Benton Jan. 29.
Cassidy Chambers, Darlington: The sophomore scored a game-high 28 points and hit five 3-pointers to lift Darlington to a 68-58 win over Southwestern Jan. 28.
