ARGYLE - The Argyle Orioles allowed six unearned runs on eight errors in an 11-2 loss to the East Dubuque Warriors in a non-conference game Thursday.
Argyle's Nate Thomas pitched six innings and struck out four with just one walk, but only five the 11 runs he gave up were earned. Cole Jordan pitched the seventh.
"We couldn't get the big out when we needed it and errors killed us," Argyle head coach Travis Erickson said.
Senior Zach Mick went 2 for 3 to lead the Orioles.
Argyle will travel to Black Hawk Monday.
