The Monroe Mat Rats diversified their attack at three tournaments on Sunday.

Seven wrestlers competed in three tournaments, two to the north in Stoughton and Cambridge and another south of the border in Crystal Lake, Ill.

Drake Ingold brought the lone gold home from Stoughton as he captured his Kidergarten-2nd grade ladder. Sam Kind took second in the same division, while Jacob Kind took second in a 3rd-4th ladder and Parker Ingold finished third in the same age group.

Dusty Burkhalter and Reave Lincoln (7th-8th) were the only competitors at Cambridge and both took third place. Kevin Klopfenstein took pride in a solo mission down to Crystal Lake, earning first place in his 7th-8th category.

The Rats will be back at it, competing in tourneys in Cuba City and Whitewater this weekend.
