BELLEVILLE - Sugar River dominated the Capitol All-Conference teams after a dominating performance in 2011.
The Raiders, which finished 8-0 in conference and 22-2-1 overall, had three first-team selections, three second-team picks, and three honorable mention players.
Sugar River senior Hannah Kernen was a first-team selection and was once again named conference player of the year. Kernen scored a league-high 37 goals and added 17 assists to lead the Raiders. Senior teammate Mackenzie Christensen, a defenseman, was also first team and led the league in assists (22).
Junior Trisha Boley, who was tied for third in assists with 10 and tied for fifth in goals (11), was a first-team pick at forward.
Senior Katie Viney, who was third in the league in goals scored, was second-team as a forward with senior teammates Lauren Narveson and goalkeeper Natalie Manion.
Freshman Sierra Watrud and seniors Chelsea Holler and Laura Durst were honorable mention picks for the Raiders.
