MADISON - The Home Talent Baseball League will have center stage Friday at the Duck Pond, home of the Madison Mallards, where the annual all-star game will be played.

At 7:05 p.m. all-stars from a combined team of North and West players will take on players from the East and Southeast divisions.

Cody Boals, Orangeville, will represent Monroe in the game. Monroe High School alums Brock Bidlingmaier (Wiota) and Matt Niffenegger (Verona), as well as Justin Crotty (Argyle), Trevor Theobald (Blanchardville) and Kory Tuescher (Wiota) will play in the game.

Managing the North/West squad will be Verona's Dale Burgenske and Sauk Prairie's Lucas Koenig, which is standing in for Trent Sorg (Sauk Prairie) who was named as a player. Gabe Haberkorn (DeForest) and Tim Garant (Fort Atkinson) will manage the East/Southeast team.

The Mallards will be providing entertainment between innings, much like normal Mallards games during Northwoods League games in the summer.
